Guided Nature Walks

Amuka is perfectly located as a stop midway between Kampala and Murchison Falls National Park, or even further north for Kidepo Valley National Park.

Nature walks can be scheduled and enable you to get a glimpse of the diverse and plentiful wildlife that share the sanctuary. Visitors regularly see Ugandan cob, bushbacks, oribi, duiker, waterhogs, waterbuck, reedbuck, vervet monkeys, and black and white colabus monkeys. Interesting reptiles often turn up including: chameleons and igamas. You’re also likely to see a recently-discovered species of dragonfly that is unique to the area. If you’re very lucky you might catch a glimpse of a leopard, ardvaark, genet cat or porcupine!
